Tel Aviv, Israel – May 11, 2023 – Talon Cyber Security, the leader in enterprise browser technology, today announced it was recognized in the April 2023 Gartner report on the future of enterprise browsers.

According to the report, “by 2030, enterprise browsers will be the core platform for delivering workforce productivity and security software on managed and unmanaged devices for a seamless hybrid work experience.” The analysts forecast that “by 2030, the browser will become a platform from which enterprises can distribute software, collect intelligence, control access and securely enable remote work.”

For today’s environments, Gartner notes that “enterprise browsing products will begin to appear on customer shortlists as an alternative to the incumbent legacy security installed base for specialized use cases.” The specific solutions that are expected to experience competitive pressure from enterprise browsers include technologies like Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Remote Browser Isolation (RBI), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Secure Web Gateway (SWG).
